BECTU Pricing Guidelines

The first website I consulted to look at pricing research was BECTU the hair and make-up artist board. They could only provide online a copy of price bandings from 2012, which when the country was in recession is something that now may be considered a smaller amount of pay than what is now deemed acceptable.
They state "The current rates reflect updating in June 2012 and take account of the increase in statutory holiday entitlement introduced on 1 April 2009. The schedule also recognises the role of trainees and sets out daily and weekly rates based on the National Minimum Wage and on the London Living Wage.
The rates have been produced by the union's freelance Hair and Make-Up Branch."
