After Interview: Business card development

After my interview I was able to amend what I disliked about my business card.

Although onscreen the text looks clear, it is in fact blurry, which does not give a professional feel to the cards. Also the work is backdated now, which is a problem that was always going to occur with visual cards. Below is a new card which will be carried forward into post graduate work.

I have chosen to use different images on the cards, which will give me more choice when dealing with different cliental. I have also received updated work from collaborations during my third year studies, which has enabled me to use highest quality work.
I have also used the same logo as before, which is amended into a higher resolution, preventing blurring prior to purchase. I have also chosen to include my name on these business cards, giving a more personalised service, as well as including (hons) and my specialist areas, so that the client can see what level I am educated to and where I specialise, quickly and efficiently. This followed by the rest of the information has enabled me to create a concise yet visually attractive business card. I am unsure how the horizontal backs will work with the portrait fronts on majority of the cards, however the more the client has to turn and look at the card, the more attention will be on this, which is a positive aspect to the design.
