As my original design was not comprehensive for the visuals of makeup design, I have decided to adapt last years card into a more visual design. The back of the card includes 5 images showcasing different portfolio images, from vintage through to fashion. This works well to give the client an idea of the quality of my work and also the range.
The back of the card did not include my logo, but instead included text in similar colours to the logo, referencing this. It did not work as effectively I believe, lacking identity. The text above the logo with details also is something I was not particularly fond of, finding it quite ineffective due to the viewer having to search for identity down the bottom of the card, before finding the information back at the top. Combining another image onto the right of the business card is something I believe worked well, and could be trialled again to tie the visual elements of the business card to the text elements.
