Industry Conduct [book research]

Makeup is Art is a book often referred to within my work for the inspiring and alternate techniques they use within makeup applications.

The book however does have a comprehensive guide to industry procedures and considerations that any makeup artist trainee should consider.
One of the things I have had considered and developed throughout my own studies is my ability to work and co-operate with stylists. This is a topic covered within the book discussing why it is crucial within fashion makeup especially to be able to understand the ability of collaborating sucsessfully.

The book also covers topics such as adornment, and specific requirements a client may request, as well as backstage etiquette. How an artist should behave around the workplace wherever it may be. The book also covers kit lists and other requirements an artist may need to know, however I have not included kit information as due to the nature of the book being published by an exclusive makeup school the product and brush listings are very biased to their own brand, whereas I have found building kit from all brands is a successful way to achieve this.
